|Welcome to the main site for the N.A.R.I.A. project. This is an open project about creating or simulating human-like intelligence with the help of neural networks. The main goal is to copy the functions of the human brain in an efficient way onto normal home computers.
Unlike many other projects, N.A.R.I.A. is open to anyone interested in artifical intelligence. It is an amateur project and an attempt to open the often complicated field of neural networks to the average computer user. As a consequence, everyone is invited to participate in this project, no matter the qualifications. It is one of the goals of the project to test whether common sense solutions may also work to produce interesting results.
The N.A.R.I.A. project is open to anyone. It is a project driven by and for people that share an interest in Artificial Intelligence and Neural Networks, no matter what their qualifications are. If you want to contribute to this project on a regular basis, be it by helping with the documentation, the planning, the general discussion, the coding, the web site or anything else, don't hesitate to contact us and volunteer. We're glad about any help you can provide us.
